About DrivingInOntario.ca

DrivingInOntario.ca was built for one reason: getting a G1 licence in Ontario involves a specific process — booking, documents, a two-part knowledge test, and a graduated set of driving conditions — and most study resources online aren't written for Ontario specifically. We wanted a straightforward, Ontario-first place to learn the process and practice before test day.

Our guides, checklists, and practice questions are written in plain language and modeled on the format of the real G1 knowledge test: rules of the road and road signs. We keep the free tier genuinely useful — guides, checklists, and a full sample test are free with no account required — and offer optional premium access for people who want the full practice test library.
